August Missions Project
As a church devoted to our community, St. Paul UMC supports Bells Ferry Elementary (Cobb County) and Sawyer Road Elementary (Marietta City). With recent updates at Bells Ferry, many students will share space at Chalker Elementary. As the school year approaches, we urge our congregation to pray for the students, teachers, staff, and families of these schools.
Many children face challenges like academic struggles, food insecurity, and emotional stress, while teachers strive to create nurturing environments. They need our prayers.
Please pray that:
- Every student feels safe and inspired.
- Teachers receive wisdom and strength.
- Our church partnership brings blessings to the schools.
- God's love is felt on campus.
Let’s support our schools with our resources and prayers and wrap them in prayer as they begin another year.
Heavenly Father, we pray for the students, teachers, staff, and families of Bells Ferry and Sawyer Road Elementary Schools. We thank You for the gift of education and the opportunity to grow in knowledge and wisdom. We pray that You would surround every person in these schools with Your protection, peace, and grace. Guide students in their learning and relationships, strengthen teachers in their calling, and empower the families and school leaders to support and uplift one another. May Your love and light shine brightly in these schools, and may all involved feel Your presence in their lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
